With the refiller and dispenser concept, we are probably the first sports nutrition brand in the world to consistently focus on a change in the use of sports nutrition. This refers to the sachets in which energy gels and liquids are normally packaged. They are becoming superfluous ...
At first glance, sachets are practical. Small, handy, hardly any weight. The catch is the resulting plastic waste from sticky sachets, resulting in sticky fingers and clothing. If you need several sachets, the problem multiplies. But why actually? Trail runners have been leading the way for years with their flasks. Reusable, soft flasks with a valve are also suitable for gels, naturally in a smaller design.
So we went out and looked for a manufacturer who could produce small flasks for us with a capacity of 150 ml and two different valves, one for the thick gel and one for the thin liquid. As you can see, we found what we were looking for. The Squeezy Energy Flask has a capacity of 150 ml, which corresponds to almost 5 energy gels or 2.5 liquids.
Energy gel and liquid in large bottles
Incidentally, the sachets and their filling make up a not insignificant part of the product price. If you fill gel and liquid in 500ml (gel) or (1000ml) bottles, the product becomes considerably cheaper. And we're not talking about a few cents, but a saving of up to 45% on the retail price! So it's worth switching and simply doing without gel sachets in future.
The environmental aspect
Not to be dismissed, is it? This concept completely eliminates the need for sachets. The refiller bottles are made of recycled PET and can be recycled again in the yellow garbage can. The flask is of exceptionally high quality and will accompany you in training and competitions for many years. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for a few days. After emptying, simply rinse the flask and the valve while still warm.
