There are and have been many brands in the field of sports nutrition and choosing the right product and brand is difficult. Ultimately, the most suitable product also depends on your individual requirements. In the following, we want to give you some help and show you what sets Squeezy Sports Nutrition, the inventor of the energy gel, apart from other brands.

Our vast body of empirical knowledge

 

Since the invention of the energy gel by Squeezy in 1987, we have been able to gather a great deal of experience in cooperation with successful athletes. An inexhaustible flow of feedback from professional and amateur sports experience is constantly incorporated into product optimizations and new product ideas.

We do not follow marketing trends

Over the last 30 years, new formulas or ingredients have been hyped time and again, many of them disappearing again after a while. We strictly follow science and our empirical experience.

In concrete terms, we also say: "There is no such thing as the best product on the market", because there can only ever be the "best product for an individual person". We are far too different as human beings. Whether it's our microbiome, intolerances or allergies and also the amount of energy in the stomach/intestinal tract during exercise - every person is unique. The formulations of the products have to be correspondingly different and varied. We therefore offer 7(!) different carbohydrate mixtures in the gel range alone. A lot of effort, but in our opinion also the only answer to the individuality of us humans.

Sponsoring activities versus product and sustainability developments

Whether as a supplier to the national teams of the BDR, supporter of the national ice hockey team, catering partner of Challenge Roth or supporter of numerous professional athletes at home and abroad. We have supported so many professional teams and individual athletes in the past that we no longer have to prove that our products work. That's why we prefer to invest larger parts of our budget in product development or our sustainability strategy.

Compatibility on a scientific basis

When we talk about tolerance, we know that the osmolarity in our performance products plays an important role during exercise.
We also know empirically that over 30% of all athletes have problems with fructose metabolism during exercise. We develop our various formulations on this basis.

So it's not just marketing "gobbledygook" when we talk about maximum compatibility. Incidentally, over 95% of our products are not food supplements, but "products for everyday consumption" and therefore foodstuffs.

There is no substitute for health

Critical or hazardous ingredients are a "no-go" for us. Our products do not contain any artificial sweeteners, which are increasingly suspected of being hazardous to health. Ketones, for which there are no long-term studies, will also not be available from us in the foreseeable future.

Production location Germany

Of course, we know that we could significantly reduce our purchase prices by using contract manufacturers in Eastern and Southern Europe, but we are talking about products that we consume orally and that can significantly affect our health. That is why we are committed to Germany as a production location and only use fully certified food manufacturers.

In our opinion, quality cannot be replaced by anything other than even more quality.
