Work- and roadbook of the transformation of SQUEEZY to a sustainable brand

For us, the Squeezy goes Green project is not a pastime, but a demanding and complicated task. It is not enough to optimize our own processes and simply switch to other materials. A whole range of German suppliers, several contract manufacturers and logistics companies are involved in the manufacture of our products. Here, too, it is necessary to analyze processes and, if necessary, to tackle conversions that are out of our hands.

Packaging, labels, accessories, ingredients

Energy gels in monofoil

In addition to a new design, the energy gels received new packaging made of recyclable monofoil.

Energy Gels with Stay-on Zip

In addition to being recyclable, the new packaging keeps the zip firmly attached to the bag, so both can be disposed of together.

Fruit Gums in recycled foil

Fruit Gums are now available with a new design in recyclable packaging.

Can body energy drinks

The can material (body) in our new energy drinks is made from natural raw materials (organic sugar cane).

At the time of filling, it was unfortunately not yet possible to use an equally sustainable screw cap, seal and measuring spoon. We are working on offering this product as soon as possible in a fully sustainable packaging.

Change from Pure Aminos to pouches

The new pouch for 100% Pure Amino is made of partially recycled cellulose (outer packaging) for powders and tablets alike. The insert, necessary for technical and hygienic reasons, is a bio-plastic made of K-PET, based on organic sugar cane.

At the time of filling, it was unfortunately not yet possible to use an equally sustainable measuring spoon. In one of the next batches we will offer such a spoon.

Change from salt tablets to sachets

For the salt tablets, there will also be a bag made of partially recycled cellulose (outer packaging). The insert, necessary for technical and hygienic reasons, is a bio-plastic made of K-PET, based on organic sugar cane.

Refiller and dispenser

Our practical and above all reusable dispenser and the 500 ml refiller bottle for the dispenser now also come in a new design. In the next throw we plan to implement in organic packaging.

Fruit Gums

Now in a fully recyclable bag with double the quantity.
